BIO:
I live in Wentzville (St. Louis Region) with my husband Bill. I am a retired art teacher. During my time with MoFA, I have been a regional rep., vice president, conference chairman, and am looking toward being the president for 2018. I also belong to the board of directors for the St. Charles County Arts Council where I am secretary and have curated several shows. In addition, I belong to the Crossroads Arts Council and the Craft Alliance. I teach art to adults with developmental disabilities for Emmaus Homes and have taught art and crochet classes for the continuing ed. dept. at St. Charles Community College for several years.

My husband and I run a Bible study/social skills group for high-functioning young adults on the autism spectrum or with other disabilities called The GAP at Wentzville Christian Church. I love working with fiber, especially in a multi-media format. I like to do so many different fiber areas: embroidery, weaving, felting, crochet, silk painting… It’s fun to create ways to combine the different areas. I especially like to focus on color and texture in my pieces.

I love being a part of MoFA and the sense of community it brings by connecting me with other fiber artists throughout the state.
